Profile

We are seeking a board-certified Psychiatrist to join our Consult-Liaison Psychiatry team with a focus on expanding critical care and medical psychiatry at our University Hospital. It will be a proactive consultation model with a focus on delirium prevention and management. Additional responsibilities include clinical training of medical students, residents and fellows.

The candidate must be board certified or board eligible in Adult Psychiatry. While Texas licensure is not required for consideration or selection for the position, it is a pre-requisite for starting in the position. It is preferred that candidates have completed a Consult-Liaison fellowship or are dual trained in psychiatry and internal medicine.
