About the Role

We’re looking for a full-time Project Engineer to support our growing team of Project Managers. This is an on-site position based in the San Francisco Bay Area. You’ll be directly involved in the planning, coordination, and execution of multiple electrical projects—working closely with clients, field teams, vendors, and subcontractors to help deliver projects on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.

If you haven’t worked as a Project Engineer or in a similar role for an electrical contractor, this role isn’t for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assist Project Managers with all phases of electrical projects, from preconstruction to closeout
  • Coordinate schedules with field teams, superintendents, vendors, manufacturers, and subcontractors
  • Support material procurement, quantity take-offs, and tracking to ensure timely delivery
  • Produce and process RFIs, change orders, proposals, and other project documentation
  • Review and interpret project drawings and specifications to identify requirements and potential conflicts
  • Maintain project documentation, schedules, and budgets
  • Attend project meetings and job walks to monitor progress and address challenges
  • Serve as a professional, solutions-focused liaison between clients, the field, and internal teams
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and industry codes

What We’re Looking For

  • Project Engineering experience in electrical contracting (required)
  • Proficiency with construction documentation, scheduling, and estimating
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with time-sensitive deadlines
  • Familiarity with Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite, and estimating software (preferred)

  • Base Pay : $120,000 per year, plus overtime
  • Bonuses : Lucrative performance-based bonuses
