DIRECTOR OF FINANCE

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

The Director of Finance will oversee the financial operations, financial analysis, and the maintenance of internal financial controls for Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers and ensure compliance with system-wide financial and accounting policies and controls. The Director of Finance will develop and execute financial strategies, systems and processes that help to optimize current and future performance. Other responsibilities include : assisting in the alignment of limited capital resources with strategic initiatives and, in the optimization of finance unit opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Professional / Educational

Bachelors of Science in Accounting, CPA highly preferred; Master's Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance as an alternative to CPA licensure

Five to ten years of progressive financial responsibility. Healthcare financial reporting and budgeting experience is required.

Experience with Meditech EMR and Kronos highly preferred.

Personal

Exceptional communication skills at all levels.

Proficient at Excel and data base management.

Ability to multi-task and exhibit critical thinking skills.

Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
