What You’ll Do as a General Sales Manager

  • Develop and execute sales strategies that align with the SITECH Strategic Business Plan
  • Lead, coach, and motivate sales representatives to drive growth and expand market share
  • Direct customer service and inside sales activities to ensure a high-quality customer experience
  • Oversee merchandising initiatives to strengthen product visibility and adoption
  • Build and maintain relationships with key contractors, surveyors, and equipment operators across Southeast Texas
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (deployment, service, support) to deliver seamless solutions
  • Monitor financial performance, create budgets, and track progress toward sales targets
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and market insights to leadership
  • Stay current on Trimble technologies, competitive offerings, and industry trends

What We’re Looking For

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Industrial Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 7–10+ years of progressive sales management experience in construction technology, machinery, or related industries
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of coaching and motivating sales teams
  • Strong customer service and solution-selling background
  • Ability to read financial statements, create budgets, and apply business acumen to decision-making
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Technical knowledge of machinery, construction technology, or Trimble solutions
  • Experience in the Houston-area construction industry with established customer relationships
  • Familiarity with telematics, machine control, or site positioning systems
