Here is an opportunity to thrive and bring your valuable skills to life within a setting known for providing the best quality care to patients. As a clinical associate, you will provide basic clinical services to patients and clerical support to the unit health-care team.

Responsibilities include : welcoming and assisting patients and visitors with registration; assisting with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges; coordinating patient flow into / out of area using department / unit specific software and Intranet; scheduling patient therapeutic and diagnostic procedures; reviewing medical records for outstanding orders and notifying nurse of stat orders and medication changes; cleaning unit-based equipment and gathering supplies; transporting patients, supplies specimens and equipment within the facility; assisting with chart audits; performing unit-based patient care tasks; participating in the sitter process; interacting with patients, visitors, physicians, and other health professionals; answering incoming calls via telephone and patient call system; providing scheduling coverage support for department / unit staff; operating and maintaining general office equipment; ordering department / unit supplies and equipment and stocking / organizing supplies; serving as a resource for department / unit software system; monitoring cleanliness of waiting and break rooms and performing safety / environmental rounds; and assisting with maintaining regulatory compliance in unit.

Please note - employee must attend mandatory orientation classes during daytime hours, Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm for the first 2 weeks of employment. All classes require to be in person except for 2 online classes.

What We Require :

Education : High school graduate or GED.

Experience : None.

Licensure, certification, and / or registration : None unless the following : Critical Access Area - Certified Nursing Assistant is required.

Life Support : AHA BLS-HCP required.

Other Minimum Qualifications : Effective interpersonal, communication, and team-working skills. Must be organized and self-motivated. Must have knowledge of office procedure and equipment.
