Schedule : Nights – 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM (3x12s, 36 hours / week)

Weekends / Holidays : Every other weekend & holiday rotation

On-Call : None

Position Overview

HumanEdge is seeking a skilled Travel ER RN for a reputable hospital in Rome, New York . This is a fast-paced 14-bed Emergency Department treating a wide range of acuity levels. The ideal nurse is confident in emergency and trauma response, adaptable, and committed to high-quality patient care.

Department Details

14-bed ER + 4 minor treatment rooms

Nurse-to-patient ratio : 1 : 4

Annual ER visits : 31,000

Charting System : T-System

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience – Required

Active NY RN License – Required

Certifications – Required :

BLS (AHA)

ACLS (AHA)

NIH Stroke Certification (must be completed prior to start)

Certifications – Preferred :

NYS SAFE Certification

Travel nursing experience – Preferred

Strong ED skills including triage, trauma response, and patient stabilization

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality emergency care for patients across all age groups

Rapid assessment, triage, and stabilization

Administer medications and emergency interventions

Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams

Document accurately in T-System EMR

Deliver care aligned with hospital protocols
