About The Position
Job Description :
The Emergency Department at Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH) has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse. In this fast-paced position, the ED RN provides direct care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other specialties as required, and adjusts the nursing care process as indicated to ensure optimal patient care. Our rural ED has nine beds and sees over 15k patients per year, and is currently under construction for an expansion.
NVRH is situated in Vermont’s historic Northeast Kingdom, a region renowned for its unspoiled beauty and diverse four-season recreational activities. A not-for-profit independent hospital, NVRH provides primary and preventive care, surgical and specialty services, inpatient and outpatient care, and 24-hour physician-staffed emergency services. Please note we are a rural critical access hospital, and there is no public transportation in the area. The closest airport is 2 hours away.
