Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience maintaining industrial / manufacturing controls systems & PLCs
• Experience troubleshooting & debugging Rockwell / Allen Bradley PLCs / HMIs
• Ability to perform maintenance & troubleshoot electrical systems for variable frequency drives, valves, flow meters, servo motors, etc.

Job Description

An employer is seeking an Electrical technician to support the manufacturing operations of a large consumer product company in Greensboro, NC. This individual will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving electrical systems across high-speed packing, making, and facility equipment. This role supports production quality and safety, contributes to small capital projects. Additional responsibilities include :

Maintain and repair packing, making, and facility power / control systems

Troubleshoot hardware and software issues (PLCs, HMIs, SCADA)

Perform preventive maintenance and calibrations

Monitor and maintain field devices (VFDs, servos, flow / pressure meters)

Apply low-voltage qualification (up to 1,000V)

Execute electrical maintenance planning tasks
