Job Summary :

Angelo's Landscape Group is looking for an individual with a primary purpose to operate large a mowing tractor.

Job Functions :

The following tasks may include, but are not limited to :

  • Perform assigned mowing in accordance with property requirements and the scope of work in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with Account Manager regarding specific job scope, property details, & client needs, and reporting back to them upon completion of assigned work.
  • Promoting a safe work environment; understanding and modeling company safety policies, proper use of (PPE) and procedures and report any accidents and / or unsafe conditions to management immediately.
  • Proper and safe operation of truck and trailer, mowing equipment, and hand tools. Ensure all equipment is secured at all times in the truck and trailer, on the job site, and at the shop at the end of the day.
  • Perform basic level preventative maintenance on equipment such as checking fluid levels, air filters, tire pressure, etc.
  • Report any damage to company equipment or job site property in a timely manner.
  • Interact with managers, customers, crew members, and peers in a professional and courteous manner, and demonstrate appropriate dress and conduct to Angelos expectations at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities for the Job :

  • Overall knowledge of safe tractor and mowing operation
  • Good situational awareness
  • A positive, can-do attitude, a desire to grow within the company, and a commitment to teamwork and excellence are required.
  • Work in adverse weather conditions.
  • Pass pre-employment drug screen and Background check.
  • Capability of learning quickly with ease.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.

    • Compensation :

    This position is paid an hourly payrate and, at the discretion of the Employer, may include bonuses and / or extra compensation based on performance of the employee. Pay is competitive to the industry's standard.

    • Hours of Work :

  • 40+ hours per week (Monday - Friday) and may include Saturdays.
  • Daily operation hours are from 6 : 30 a.m. - 5 : 30 p.m.
  • Overtime work may be offered, but not mandated.

    • Education and Experience :

  • At least 2 years experience in safe operation of tractors and mowing equipment.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience maintaining equipment and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Ability to handle the workload and physical demands of the job.
  • Interact and communicate effectively with others in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Valid U.S. Drivers License (Required) Commercial Driver's Licence CDL (Preferred)
