What you’ll do

Gain hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment, working directly on the production floor.

• Collaborate with an experienced, execution-focused engineering and maintenance team to support daily operations and long-term improvements.
• Contribute to Henkel’s commitment to energy efficiency by identifying and executing energy-saving projects across manufacturing platforms.
• Assist in the design and implementation of initiatives aimed at achieving carbon neutrality.
• Participate in data collection, analysis, and reporting to support sustainability and operational excellence goals.

What makes you a good fit

An undergraduate student (current junior or senior) or master’s / graduate student pursuing a degree in

Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering

Ability to design, build, and execute engineering projects from concept through implementation.

Hands-on experience with project planning, prototyping, and troubleshooting in a manufacturing setting

Additional information

This internship is NOT eligible for a housing stipend or relocation support.

The anticipated start date for this internship is January 1, 2026, and the anticipated end date is June 1, 2026.

This position requires you to be available to work ~20-40 hours / week.

Recruitment for our 2026 internships starts in late August 2025 and runs through early March 2026 or until all our positions are filled.

The salary for this role is $22-$27 / hour. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
