About The Position

Job Description & Requirements

Sonographer - Diagnostic - (Sonography - Sono)

StartDate : ASAP

Available Shifts : 8 E

Pay Rate : $1960.45 - $2148.15

Will work independently supported by a great group of Sonographers and Radiologists

Responsible for writing preliminary notes on each case

Must Have Skills / Experience : Outpatient / Neonates / Biopsies, Community Hospital Experience Required

Common Diagnosis / Treatment : Abdominal, Pelvic, Ectopic, Scrotal, Thyroid, some carotids, paracentesis, FNA, Thoracentesis, some OB.

Patient Population : Neonates, Infants, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics and ER

EHR : Cerner

Equipment : Portable, GE Brand, PACS, SonoSite

Patient Ratios : 35 Daily Census

Number of Beds : 4 Rooms

Call Requirements : Yes (one per week / weekends and holidays) – shift may vary based on staffing needs - (M-F until either 6pm or 8pm)

Required Certifications : BLS, ARRT – Sonography / RDMS

RDMS – Peds Preferred

Years of Experience : 2

Additional Notes : 1 patient per hour

References : 1 Reference in entire work history
