Job description

About the Role

We're hiring a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join a weekday outpatient clinic focused on occupational health. Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient exams and compile medical histories
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., x-rays, EKGs, labs)
  • Perform procedures including injections, immunizations, suturing, wound care, and infection management
  • Develop and implement patient management plans and ensure continuity of care
  • Counsel patients on therapeutic regimens and health maintenance
  • Participate in policy development and educational programming
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Deliver compassionate care and uphold service standards
  • Collaborate with clinical teams and adapt to changing business needs
  • Seek opportunities for professional growth and training

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related health field
  • Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program
  • Active state license and DEA registration (required prior to start)
  • FMCSA NRCME certification (required prior to start; CME provided if needed)
  • Board certification
  • Preferred : 1+ year experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or emergency settings
  • Procedural proficiency (e.g., suturing, foreign body removal) preferred

  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to manage confidential information in compliance with HIPAA and PHI standards
  • Knowledge of occupational medicine, clinical operations, and workers' compensation procedures
