Shift : 7 : 30 AM-8 : 00 PM

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department team at Woodhull Medical Center. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience in emergency nursing, with strong clinical skills including IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation.

Required Skills & Experience :

Minimum two (2) years of Emergency Room nursing experience

Proficient in IV insertion and phlebotomy

Experience with conscious sedation procedures

Certifications & Licensure :

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN, ADN) from an accredited nursing program
• Valid New York State RN License
• Primary Source Verification of License and Registration from NYS Department of Education (NYSED)
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) — required only for Bellevue, Kings County, and Jacobi locations
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
