We are looking for a compassionate professional to support the health and well-being of Unaccompanied Minors in our programs. You will provide high-quality care, promote disease prevention, and ensure compliance with state and ORR guidelines—making a meaningful impact on vulnerable youth.
POSITION SUMMARY
The nurse is responsible for guiding and ensuring the quality of clinical services, treatment, and / or interventions provided to Unaccompanied Minor’s (UM) in the programs in collaboration with the Medical Director and contracted physicians. The nurse is devoted to the delivery of medical care in CPLC program setting with the emphasis on disease prevention and health maintenance. Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with State licensing, Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), and all policies and procedures implemented by CPLC Programs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
Registered Nurse (RN) from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s or Associates degree in nursing (Minimum of 1-year direct patient care experience preferred).
OR
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) AND Licensure according to State requirements with two to five years of nursing experience in an outpatient, assisted living, hospital, or public health / community setting preferred.
