American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Case Manager with inpatient care management experience and an active OR RN license.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in the Case Management unit of a short-term acute care teaching hospitalManage an inpatient caseload with a ratio of 1 : 18Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PMFloating between units and to affiliate hospitals is required based on skill set and facility needDocumentation is completed using Epic EMR and prior experience with Epic is requiredTravelers must have a vehicle for commuting between facilitiesPrimary responsibilities include comprehensive case management and coordination of patient care for assigned inpatient casesTravelers may float to nearby sister facilities, occasionally to Seaside with notice, and additional incentives for working at SeasideHoliday coverage required for at least three of the following : Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, or New Year's DayScrubs of any color are acceptable except in OR / Cath Lab where providedParking is free at the facilityPre-assignment modules must be completed before the start dateTime off requests must be made during application and are limited to six total days or three consecutive days for auto-approval\n \n Requirements\n
Active OR RN license required (may submit with license pending if noted in job title)Minimum of 1 year recent inpatient case management experience requiredPrior experience with Epic EMR is requiredAbility to float between facilities within the area as neededTwo supervisory references from the past three years covering at least one year of relevant employment are requiredCandidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility for travel considerationFormer permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler\n Benefits\n
