Mortenson is seeking a Licensed Electrical Journeyman with commercial / industrial experience including MV terminations, AC / DC electrical systems, and underground work for substations. Must hold current Journeyman Electrician License in any of the following states : Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Maine, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, or Wyoming.

Skills and responsibilities include :

• Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit utilizing various hand tools
• Safely utilize hand and power tools after proper training (Drills, Crimpers, Cutters, etc.)
• Lift, position, and fasten objects
• Prepare, handle, and supply of materials and tools be used by electrical trades
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, tools, and equipment
• Work under immediate and close supervision according to standard instructions and established procedures
• Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
• Pull DC and MV wire
• All other duties as assigned
• Limited ability to read and interpret documents such as safety regulations, operation and maintenance instructions, blueprints and schematic drawings, and procedure manuals
• Ability to work with tools, such as power and non-powered hand tools
• Willing and able to follow instructions and ask clarifying questions
• Ability to work safely with electrical equipment
• Mentor and train other team members on your crews
• Knowledge of working with HV / MV / LV AC / DC electrical systems
• Ability to handle materials that can weigh up to 200Ibs
• Strong teamwork orientation

• Active listening skills and effective communication including openness to diverse input and feedback
