AEMT-Paramedic (NYS Certified)
Location : Albany, NY - Capital Region
Schedule : Sunday–Wednesday or Thursday–Sunday (36 / 48 schedule with OT available)

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled NYS AEMT-Paramedic to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about high-quality emergency care, teamwork, and patient advocacy. What You'll Do
- Provide high-quality pre-hospital emergency care in accordance with NYS protocols and company operational standards.
- Communicate clearly via telephone and radio equipment in fast-paced environments.
- Safely lift, carry, and balance up to 125 lbs. (250 lbs. with assistance).
- Conduct patient interviews, assess conditions, and maintain prolonged patient contact when necessary.
- Document all care and interactions in the required legal format.
- Participate in long-distance transports as needed.
- Work collaboratively with other providers to make sound clinical decisions.
- Report operational issues regarding crew, vehicles, equipment, and supplies to the Shift Leader.
- Relay complaints or concerns from external agencies, facility staff, patients, or families to leadership promptly.
Must-Have Qualifications
Current and valid NYS AEMT-P certificationMust be 18 years of age or older by the month of the certification exam.Class "D" NYS Driver License or equivalent from another state; clean driving record and insurable.Flexible availability on nights and weekendsStrong oral and written communication skills.Ability to interpret verbal, written, and diagnostic instructions.Ability to perform essential physical tasks required of emergency medical transport.Preferred / Nice-to-Have
Competence in ACLS, BTLS, EMT-B, and AEMT-Intermediate skills and equipment.Experience with cardiac monitors / defibrillators and IV drug / fluids administration.Strong understanding of advanced pre-hospital care standards.Soft Skills
