Responsibilities Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of an acute care hospital Care for a culturally diverse and high-risk obstetric population RNs will circulate on cesarean sections 12-hour night shifts (18 : 00–06 : 30), working every other weekend Floating required between Labor & Delivery and like units, as well as to affiliate hospitals nearby Uses Epic EMR system No on-call responsibilities Responsibilities include circulating on cesarean sections and providing care for high-risk OB patients Expected to float between all units and affiliate facilities as needed First-time travelers are welcome to apply Holiday coverage required for at least 2 out of 3 major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's RTO (requested time off) must be submitted at time of application Scrub color is any solid color, with Royal Blue or Navy typically worn Free parking is available on the first day with assignment parking provided during orientation Requirements Active CA RN license required at time of application Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience Certifications required : ACLS, BLS, NRP Experience with Epic charting required Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 recent year in a comparable specialty Compliance with a 50-mile radius rule for local candidates Returning former staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-615377.
