Job descriptionNo excuses Do the right thing Can-do attitude Always growing Help first-be the solution Transparency and honesty-no BS You are energized by helping others celebrate important events Providing excellent customer service brings you joy You are knowledgeable about food and comfortable talking about preparation methods and ingredients Attention to detail is your superpower You seek out opportunities to 'leave it better than you found it' You're not afraid to learn from your mistakes You want to be a part of a growing company that values their employees Arrive to scheduled events on time and dressed in proper uniform Assist in all aspects of set-up and break-down, including lifting and / or moving up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 75 pounds Serve our guests, with a dedication to taking care of the details to ensure that they have everything they need Become familiar with the catering menu and answer customer questions concerning food being served Maintain a courteous and well-mannered demeanor throughout the event Adhere to a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance Practice safe food handling procedures Be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends Customer service experience Able to follow directions and work independently Effective verbal communication skills Previous banquet, catering, and / or restaurant wait staff experience preferred $16 / hr + gratuities 40% off at all Gourmet Gang delis for employee and family 40% off catering (pick up only) Part-time employees who work at least 1,000 hours a year are eligible for 401k matching after the first year Flexible scheduling-perfect for someone looking for a second job!
