Job Title : Billing & Accounts Receivable Specialist
Compensation : $55,000 $65,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
Schedule : Monday Friday, 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :
Manage the entire accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, posting payments, reconciliations, and reportingPrepare lien waivers, file preliminary notices and mechanic's liens, and track related deadlinesApply jurisdictional sales tax on invoices; maintain exemption certificatesFile monthly, quarterly, and annual sales tax returnsMonitor aging reports, credit limits, and customer risk profiles to drive timely collectionsPartner with Sales and Customer Service to resolve billing disputesSupport internal control compliance and assist with auditsIdentify opportunities to streamline and improve AR processesHandle other related duties as neededQualifications :
Associate's degree in Accounting or related field (Bachelor's degree preferred) OR equivalent experience4+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or related accounting functionsDemonstrated success in improving AR performance and reducing DSOERP system proficiency and advanced Excel skillsStrong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilitiesHighly organized, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
