Dir Generation Engineering
Executive leadership role within the Power Generation department, responsible for leading and overseeing all engineering and project management functions supporting the generation assets. This role provides strategic and operational leadership for multidisciplinary teams engaged in mechanical, civil and electrical program management, project execution and engineering support across the power generation fleet.
Director is accountable for driving continuous improvement and high-quality execution of engineering programs that align with the organization's reliability, safety and compliance objectives. The role ensures effective planning and execution of capital projects, provides technical oversight and governance, and champions cross-functional collaboration to support optimal asset performance.

Tasks and Responsibilities
Minimum Skills
Extensive experience in managing complex engineering programs and capital projects in a utility environment. Deep understanding of power plant systems and engineering principles related to generation assets. Strong organizational skills, along with proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver results in a matrixed, fast-paced work environment. Demonstrated financial acumen with experience managing capital budgets and large-scale project portfolios. Knowledge of organizational change strategies and performance measurement. Ability to lead, direct, coach and train others. Knowledge of federal, state and local laws, ordinances, policies and procedures as related to generation capital projects. Proficient in Microsoft Office business applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation software, electronic mail, and scheduling. Demonstrates a strong sense of dependability and of accountability; shows initiative to improve the overall throughput and financial goals of the organization. Sense of urgency; drives to a successful conclusion; possesses a bias for action.

Working Environment
Work is performed indoors & outdoors. Operating computer, manual dexterity, talking, hearing, and repetitive motion. Use of personal computing equip, telephone, multi-functioning printer and calculator. Ability to travel to & from meetings, training sessions or other business-related events. After hours work may be required.
Physical Demands
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and / or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
