Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in a General Labor Production role, primarily responsible for maintaining cleanliness in assigned areas. This position involves working in an industrial setting, handling grain and feed, and assisting with various operational tasks.

Responsibilities

• Shovel and scoop grain dust to ensure a clean environment.
• Load and unload grain cars efficiently.
• Operate wheel loaders to move materials.
• Utilize the computer system for data processing tasks.
• Perform general housekeeping duties such as sweeping, dusting, and shoveling to maintain equipment cleanliness.
• Assist the maintenance team with necessary repairs and upkeep.
• Handle the loading and unloading of railcars.
• Manage grain and feed handling operations.

Work Environment

The role is based on an industrial site with a farm-like feel, surrounded by large buildings, grain bins, and equipment. Work hours are from 7 : 30 am to 4 pm, with the potential for other shifts or rotating shifts upon hiring. You'll be part of a sanitation grain handler team consisting of 5-7 members, working independently with a focus on safety. The dress code requires steel toes, jeans, and long sleeve t-shirts for safety purposes.

This is a Contract position based out of Lincoln, NE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00 / hr.
