Role Overview :

This position is responsible for performing general highway maintenance duties that keep INDOT assets in good working condition to ensure customer satisfaction. Seasonal Winter Program Workers perform snow and ice removal and related maintenance duties by operation of snow plow, and other winter operations duties as required. Traffic maintenance duties such as repairing and installing traffic signs and pavement markings are also required job duties for this position. A CDL is required for this position.

Preferred Start Dates :

Start on any of the following dates and receive a $250 sign-on bonus.

• November 10th, 2025
• November 24th, 2025
• December 8th, 2025

Retention Bonus :

A $500 retention bonus offered to Winter Seasonal Maintenance Worker working full-time hired on or before 12 / 8 / 25 who stay through 3 / 21 / 26.

Location :

This Seasonal Winter position is in INDOT's Warsaw Unit.

Pay Rate :

This position pays an hourly rate of $21.00.

Benefits of Employment with the State of Indiana :

This seasonal position does not offer benefits and is limited to 180 working days in an eleven (11) month continuous period.
