Position Summary :

The Drafting / CAD Technician II is responsible for overseeing and managing technical drawings and design documentation within the facility. This role requires a strong foundation in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks, and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments to develop and design equipment. The position supports daily operations, continuous improvement initiatives, and cost reduction efforts through technical design and documentation management.

Key Responsibilities :

• Drawing Control : Maintain and coordinate the management of plant drawings, ensuring accuracy, organization, and accessibility.
• Project Documentation : Ensure that all required documentation (e.g., drawings, spare parts lists, procedures, schedules) is completed and properly managed for projects.
• Design Development : Work with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Maintenance, Operations) to design and develop equipment for manufacturing.
• Troubleshooting Support : Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to resolve equipment issues using technical drawings.
