Job description

Job description : Your Role

After comprehensive onboarding and training at our U.S. office in San Jos and headquarters in Germany you will lead the technical implementation of projects with our key accounts in the consumer electronics industry by delivering tailored adhesive solutions. You will :

  • Lead projects and drive technical execution at key accounts
  • Analyze customer needs and define technical and process requirements
  • Collaborate closely with customers and internal teams across DELOs global network (Germany and subsidiaries)
  • Develop deep application-specific process expertise and support contract manufacturers in process implementation
  • Coordinate cross-region teams to ensure project success
  • Monitor and scout technical trends relevant to your key accounts, exchange insights with industry experts
  • Provide regular feedback and collaborate with the Global Key Account Manager

Required profile : What You Bring

  • Based in the Greater San Jos Area (California)
  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Process, Materials, Automation, Electrical Engineering or a related technical field (Masters degree a plus)
  • 3+ years of experience in a technical environment, ideally in sales engineering or application engineering within adhesives, surface treatment, consumer electronics or semiconductor industries
  • Proven track record of project management
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex technical challenges
  • No prior adhesive experience required comprehensive, hands-on training in Germany will prepare you
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
