SUMMARY : The Floriculture Associate performs manual labor to assist in the maintenance, upkeep, stocking, and fulfillment of growing medicinal cannabis, including, but not limited to; watering, feeding, pruning, propagating, transplanting, cleaning, and harvesting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• The ideal candidate will embrace a mindset of Extreme Ownership , taking full responsibility for their contributions and driving positive outcomes.
• The Grower will be responsible for assisting in daily activities as they pertain to maintaining the health of medical cannabis plants.
• Work time expectation : 60% of the time will be spent working with plants in the grow rooms propagating, transplanting, moving, pruning, spacing, grading, watering, potting, harvesting, and loading cannabis plants. 30% of time will be spent doing general duties around the nursery as they relate to the upkeep of the nursery, including 5s. 10% will be spent on continuous improvement.
• Assist in the propagation, transplanting, moving, pruning, spacing, grading, watering, applications, potting, harvesting, and loading of cannabis plants.
• General duties around the nursery as they relate to the upkeep of the nursery, including 5s.
• Scout for plant pests.
• Assist in Irrigation and application schedules.
• Follow and uphold GMP / GAP standards.
• Manage medical cannabis plants, giving each individual plant the attention it needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Ability to execute techniques consistently

This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Education and Experience :

High school Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); 2+ years of experience working in a greenhouse / nursery environment or a related horticultural field; or combination of education and experience.
