Job description

Are you a talented and imaginative designer looking to take your career to the next level in a firm that values creativity, elegance, and hospitality? This is an exceptional opportunity to join a high-end residential architecture firm that is redefining luxury living in Texas and beyond.

Why This Role Is Exceptional:

  • Creative Impact: You'll work directly with the firm's principal, playing a central role in shaping some of the most stunning custom homes in the region.
  • High-Caliber Projects: Lead design on multi-million dollar homes ($5M-$25M+) with discerning, high-net-worth clients who value artistry and innovation.
  • Mentorship and Growth: Be mentored by a visionary design leader who is ready to invest in your growth. This is a rare opportunity to be groomed into a creative leadership position.
  • True Design Ownership: From early concept sketches through construction, you'll guide the full design lifecycle-helping turn dreams into built form.
  • Values-Driven Culture: Work in an environment where hospitality, empathy, and simplicity are foundational to both design and culture.
  • Unique Positioning: This role is not about competing for recognition-it's about enhancing the voice of the firm and building its next generation.
  • Strategic Opportunity: Join at a pivotal time as the firm expands into developing its own branded homes-offering creative challenge and new market growth.
What You'll Do:
  • Develop and lead conceptual design with hand sketching and visual storytelling
  • Collaborate closely with project architects, consultants, and clients
  • Manage the design narrative and process from vision through execution
  • Represent the firm's aesthetic and values in every client interaction
  • Maintain strong relationships with builders and consultants
  • Ensure quality, detail, and client satisfaction across all phases
What You Bring:
  • 8+ years of experience in high-end residential design
  • Strong hand sketching and design development skills
  • Confident and communicative-without ego
  • A passion for detail, hospitality, and functional elegance
  • Ability to manage complex, high-touch client relationships
  • Experience working with consultants, vendors, and site teams
