We are currently looking for an innovative VP of Engineering to define and execute the technology strategy for SONIFIs healthcare product portfolio. This role oversees architecture, development, and delivery across multiple engineering domains. The VP partners closely with Product, Operations, and Executive Leadership to align engineering priorities with business growth, profitability, and customer success. As a key member of the senior leadership team, this position influences enterprise-wide technology direction, organizational design, and strategic partnerships. This position requires travel up to 15% of the time. This position ensures that our platform remains innovative, secure, and scalable, enabling hospitals and care teams to deliver personalized, efficient care. / ppWhat Youll Do : / pulliDefine and lead the long-term engineering vision and strategy for SONIFIs healthcare business. / liliTranslate corporate and product strategy into actionable technical roadmaps and resource plans. / liliDrive innovation in cloud-native solutions, interoperability, and data platforms aligned with healthcare standards (e.g., HIPAA, HL7, FHIR). / liliBuild, mentor, and scale a high-performing engineering organization with a culture of accountability, inclusion, and technical excellence. / liliDevelop senior engineering leaders and establish clear succession and talent development paths. / liliChampion continuous improvement in architecture, technical debt reduction, automation, DevSecOps, and agile delivery practices. / liliOversee execution across multiple programs and product lines to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of secure, compliant, and scalable solutions. / liliBalance innovation with operational rigor, managing both near-term commitments and long-term platform investments. / liliEstablish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for productivity, quality, and system reliability. / liliInfluence prioritization decisions based on technical feasibility, business impact, and customer outcomes. / liliServe as the executive escalation point for major technical or delivery challenges. / liliLead initiatives to modernize infrastructure, optimize CI / CD and DevOps pipelines, and strengthen cloud reliability and observability. / liliManage engineering budgets, vendor relationships, infrastructure cost, and resource allocation to maximize ROI. / liliEnsure compliance with healthcare data protection, security, and regulatory frameworks. / li / ulpWhat Youll Need : / pulliBachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred; and / lili12+ years in software engineering leadership roles, with at least 5 years in healthcare or similar industries, or the equivalent combination of education and / or experience. / liliDemonstrated success leading cloud transformation initiatives (AWS preferred) and large-scale enterprise integrations. / liliDeep understanding of healthcare interoperability standards and compliance requirements. / liliExperience shaping architecture and platform strategies for distributed, data-driven systems. / liliExceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to executive and non-technical audiences. / liliTrack record of leading organizational change and scaling teams through growth phases. / liliStrong executive presence and ability to represent Healthcare Engineering at the C-suite level. / liliProven ability to align technology investment with business strategy, profitability, and customer outcomes. / liliFinancial discipline in managing multi-million-dollar budgets and technology portfolios. / li / ulpTogether, we can build your future! SONIFI pays a competitive salary for this role based on a variety of factors including location, experience, education, specialty, and training. This position is also eligible for unlimited PTO, holidays, health, dental, vision, retirement plan, life and ADD insurance, pet insurance, on-demand pay, and a variety of other benefits. Generally annual base salary starting between $200,000 - $250,000 with bonus opportunity. / p / div
