Job descriptionProvide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Perform assessments, diagnose, and manage critically ill cardiovascular patients Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans Participate in daily ICU rounds and ensure continuity of care throughout the shift Document patient progress and interventions accurately Adhere to established clinical protocols and best practices for critical care medicine Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required Must hold an active North Carolina license as a Physician Assistant Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities Transition between full-time, part-time, or locum roles as your personal or professional circumstances evolve, maintaining career fluidity and adaptability. About The Position
We are seeking a Critical Care Physician Assistant for a locum tenens assignment in North Carolina. This opportunity begins on Jan 6, 2026, and spans 84 days, featuring a 7 on 7 off schedule with 12-hour day and night shifts in a state-of-the-art 16-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and be ready to join a collaborative team providing advanced cardiovascular critical care.
