PERL CGI Web Application Developer

Job Summary :

The PERL CGI Web Application Developer will design, develop, and maintain web-based applications that interact with a SQL backend database (Oracle) on an open-source (Linux) platform. The role focuses on generating dynamic web content, implementing enhancements, resolving bugs, and collaborating within a development team to ensure quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain PERL CGI web-based applications integrated with an Oracle SQL backend database on a Linux platform.
• Generate dynamic web content based on database queries.
• Test, document, and validate code prior to release into production.
• Meet with end users to gather requirements, discuss enhancements, and address bugs.
• Implement bug fixes and enhancements as assigned through the Bugzilla tracking system.
• Participate in code and peer reviews to ensure code quality, proper testing, and thorough documentation.
• Utilize Git for version control and source management.
• Collaborate effectively in a team environment to develop new features or resolve application issues.
