Mechanical Engineer I

Overview

DMF Lighting is a fast-growing leader in the lighting industry. We are looking for an entry-level mechanical engineer with knowledge of product design and qualification. The candidate will be an integral part of a close-knit and dynamic team with room to innovate, learn and grow rapidly.

Pay range is $70,000-$85,000 (based on skills / knowledge / experience).

Location : Carson, CA (onsite)

Responsibilities

• Design residential and commercial luminaires from concept to mass-manufacturing
• Avoid production, installation, and usage difficulties to ensure a flawless customer experience
• Qualify the products through our multi-step certification processes
• Collaborate with cross-department point-people and drive decision-making so projects are pushed to completion
• Model designs around the basic principles of engineering to meet performance, reliability, cost and quality goals
