Engineering Manager
The Engineering Manager will oversee the transfer of a new production line into State College. This role involves leading a team of engineers, managing projects, and collaborating with other departments to achieve production goals. Once the transfer is completed the Engineering Manager will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes and production efficiency of these products. This is not a hybrid or remote position.
Leadership : Manage and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Project Management : Plan, execute, and oversee engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Process Improvement : Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
Production Focus : Oversee and optimize manufacturing processes to ensure maximum efficiency and output. Address production challenges and implement solutions to improve workflow.
Technical Expertise : Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team, solving complex problems and making informed decisions.
Collaboration : Work closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations and continuous improvement.
Compliance : Ensure all engineering activities comply with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
Reporting : Track and report on key manufacturing metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
Troubleshooting : Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise in the manufacturing process, minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth operations.
