About Our Team

Cross River's team is made up of problem solvers hungry to build and perfect new products and systems. We work with team members in most US time zones. Although we are in separate places, we still make space to know one another and have fun! We collaborate, help and mentor each other, and check in on our progress and blocks frequently. We work together primarily with Confluence, GitHub, JIRA, and Teams.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking a lead for building applications in Palantir Foundry. This is a hands-on, product-oriented role that sits at the intersection of business needs and modern data tooling. You'll own the delivery of high-impact applications without owning backend infrastructure.

You will guide solution delivery from the enterprise systems perspective, partnering with technical teams (data engineering, platform teams, architects) and business stakeholders to drive value-focused application development. Your role centers on solution execution and stakeholder alignment, not platform-level architecture.

Role And Responsibilities

• Lead Application Development from the Enterprise Perspective
• Serve as the point person for business-aligned Foundry application development within enterprise systems.
• Drive delivery of user-facing applications, dashboards, and workflows using Foundry tools (e.g., Workshop, Slate, Code Workbooks, Contour).
• Align use case development with business objectives, data availability, and compliance requirements.
• Business and Stakeholder Engagement
• Translate operational and reporting needs into well-scoped applications and iterative solutions.
• Partner closely with business users, product owners, and domain leads to understand requirements and validate outcomes.
• Coordinate with architects and engineering teams to align on data models and ensure integrations, but you will not own platform or infrastructure architecture.
• Operational Oversight & Execution
• Configures UI and UX changes to end-user applications (in collaboration with BAs and even end-users directly)
• Creates dashboards for any emerging business needs
• Ideates new functionalities and improvements to the tool
• Manage Ontology data model in collaboration with data engineering and business owners
• Support testing, rollout, and user onboarding for enterprise applications.
• Monitor solution performance, collect feedback, and manage iterative improvements.
• Maintain solution documentation, including logic, workflows, and user support materials.
• On occasion, be willing to participate in coding portions of the data pipelines in Palantir.
• Collaboration & Governance
• Ensure solutions comply with internal governance, security, and compliance standards.
• Participate in planning forums and enterprise reviews to ensure alignment with broader digital strategy.
• Quality Assurance & Optimization :
• Oversee the testing and validation of implemented solutions to ensure they meet specified requirements.
• Use Palantir's analytical tools to demonstrate data quality and architecture as well as lead analytical investigations for data projects.
• Continuously evaluate and optimize solutions to improve performance, efficiency, and scalability.
