We are looking for a highly skilled Director of Finance & Controller to join our team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In this role, you will oversee financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulations while driving efficiency and innovation. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounting and financial management, contributing to organizational goals and supporting healthcare reform initiatives.
Responsibilities :
- Lead the development, implementation, and enforcement of financial policies and procedures to guide organizational decision-making.
- Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Oversee cash management strategies to optimize returns and minimize risk through effective investment practices.
- Collect, analyze, and present financial data to provide insights into the organization’s financial health.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations by staying informed on legislative changes and preparing required reports.
- Coordinate and manage audits to ensure accuracy and adherence to financial standards.
- Develop and monitor budgets to control expenses and align spending with organizational priorities.
- Collaborate with teams to achieve healthcare reform objectives, including improving care quality, health outcomes, and reducing costs.
- Stay current on technological advancements and financial tools to drive innovation and maintain compliance.
- Provide leadership in risk management and compliance efforts, addressing organizational challenges proactively.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of accounting leadership experience
- Proven experience with month-end close processes and financial reporting.
- Expertise in financial statement audits and compliance procedures.
- Familiarity with Sage Intacct or similar financial management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply financial data to organizational strategies.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
