Schedule Night shift, 5 nights per week. Rotation will start on a Sunday night at 11 PM - 7 AM. Job Description The Radiologic Technologist ensures that evaluation of radiology procedures, equipment, and staff are administered accurately, timely, and reliably. Focus is on activities that directly affect customer service, serving a variety of stakeholders including employees, medical staff, patients, and regulatory agencies. Responsibilities Perform routine portable and fluoroscopic procedures as well as operating room procedures as requested. Establish effective communication with referring physicians, radiologists, and ancillary departments to ensure quality patient care. Ensure adherence to safety procedures and radiation safety practices according to ALARA principles. Demonstrate working knowledge of UHS information service systems. Provide patient education and thorough documentation to ensure high-quality care. Adhere to appropriate clinical principles and methods while performing or supervising imaging procedures. Comply with hospital policies and procedures, particularly regarding incident reporting. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology.
