Job Responsibilities :
Greet and assist all customers with a positive and friendly attitude at every interaction.
Deliver high‐quality service through phone calls, electronic messaging, and in‐person communication.
Perform patient registration, schedule appointments, and verify insurance information accurately.
Monitor patient wait times and collaborate with the team to provide timely updates regarding any delays.
Respond to patient questions and provide information while ensuring compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
Review financial work lists and take corrective actions as directed to resolve discrepancies.
Maintain awareness of office supplies, restocking and ordering as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
Promote and support adherence to all applicable regulatory standards within the office.
Participate actively in Performance Improvement initiatives to enhance office efficiency and patient experience.
Position Qualifications
Minimum Required :
High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred :
Two years' experience in medical environment with working knowledge of insurance applicable to outpatient medical care.
Proficient computer skills, knowledge of Medical Terminology, experience with scheduling.
Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA)
Current driver's license
