• Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 3 / 2025 – End : 2 / 2 / 2026)\n
• Shift : Nights, 12-hour shifts\n
• Hours : 36 hours per week (guaranteed)\n
• Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend\n
• Call : As needed / on request\n
• Electronic Health Record : Cerner\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina\n
• At least 1 year of recent experience in Labor & Delivery nursing\n
• Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, CPI / HWC / MAB, AWHONN, NRP, and PALS (must be current or obtained before start)\n
• Ability to float to other clinical units as needed\n
• Strong commitment to high-quality patient care and professional demeanor\n
• Scrub color : Any (no casual wear permitted)\nLabor & Delivery RN Responsibilities\n
• Deliver direct nursing care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit\n
• Monitor and assess mothers and newborns, implementing individualized care plans\n
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams\n
• Assist with labor, deliveries, and postpartum care\n
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EHR\n
• Respond to obstetric and neonatal emergencies as needed\n
