Process Control Engineer

Responsibilities :

• The Process Control Engineer will support various I / O devices connected to PLC's including HMI's, remote I / O, sensors, relays, solenoids, etc., and support / assist maintenance personnel in troubleshooting electrical, PLC, pneumatic circuits, all other components associated with automated processes to meet production and safety goals.
• Respond with urgency to assigned work and breakdowns / emergency work orders assisting the maintenance team as needed.
• Ensure that the control systems comply with any regulatory requirements such as SIL / LOPA assessments.
• Maintain or create instrument and electrical drawings for control systems consisting of motor elementaries and instrument loop sheets.
• Maintain PLC documentation upon receipt from equipment suppliers and an archive of PLC programs and machine controls drawings in an electronic and / or paper format and throughout facility.
• Mentoring and sharing knowledge with technicians and other technical staff members on control system strategies and installations.

Relocation available. $130K-$145K.
