At Hoag, we're looking for a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant / Limited X-Ray Technician to support our providers and patients with precision, care, and confidence. This hybrid role blends hands-on clinical support with diagnostic imaging expertise-perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Assist physicians and providers with general medicine or specialty care procedures
• Perform diagnostic x-rays within licensure for patients of all ages
• Produce high-quality images using correct anatomical markers
• Gather prior studies and documentation for radiologist interpretation
• Use EMR systems (IDX, Allscripts, GE-RIS, GE-PACS) for scheduling, charge entry, and image verification
• Room patients, collect clinical information, and support providers during visits
• Handle phones, documentation, supply stocking, and darkroom duties
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in code situations
• Perform other duties as assigned
