Job description

The Yum! Digital and Technology Finance Associate Manager plays a critical role in supporting the overall Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) activities for the fast-growing Yum! Digital & Technology business unit. This person will be an integral part of the Byte vertical, a revenue-generating BB restaurant tech and SaaS business within the Yum! D&T organization. They will partner closely with FP&A and Control counterparts as well as product and engineering leaders to develop forecasts, perform financial modeling and analysis, and report on operating results for the Byte business.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain a robust and automated monthly reporting process
  • Own division monthly reporting, compiling, and communicating financial and business metrics to division leadership
  • Own and facilitate the creation of capital expenditure requests for Byte teams while leading the process from start to execution
  • Update, improve and automate the financial forecast model that governs all short and long-range planning for Yum! D&T
  • Support the establishment, tracking, and automation of Yum! Digital and Technology KPIs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop business cases, improve governance / processes, and find ways to generate efficiencies for the team

Minimum Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • years of corporate finance and accounting experience (may include corporate FP&A, strategic finance, audit, principal investing, investment banking, or other advisory roles)
  • Financial modeling experience and adept at working with large datasets
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and balance multiple competing priorities
  • Intellectual curiosity and self-starter with a bias for action
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated success in collaborating with teams
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

    • Preferred Requirements :

  • Experience with Hyperion Financial Management preferred
  • Experience in QSR, technology, or retail organization
