A Food Service Aide provides assistance in all nutrition service functions as directed by the Director of Food Service in accordance with the center’s standards and procedures, federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations. Assists with providing nourishing, attractive, well-balanced meals and a pleasant dining experience. Must follow company policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS :

• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities : Requires demonstrated knowledge and ability in food service preparation and clean up. Verbal and written English communication skills. Position requires prolonged standing, frequent bending, walking, stooping, lifting, stretching, moving heavy items, and lifting / carrying up to 50 pounds.
• Education : High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience : Previous long term care experience or institutional food service preferred.
• Certificate / Licenses : Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.
