Position : Tax Accountant

Location : Chattanooga, TN

Type : Full-Time | On-Site

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare and file individual and business tax returns

Ensure compliance with federal and state tax laws and regulations

Conduct tax planning and provide consulting to clients on tax-related matters

Review financial records and prepare financial statements

Stay up-to-date with tax law changes and ensure accuracy in all filings

Qualifications :

Strong experience in tax compliance and tax preparation

Knowledge of tax regulations and financial reporting standards

Proficient in preparing and analyzing financial statements

Solid accounting background with strong problem-solving skills

Bachelor's degree in Accounting , Finance , or related field

CPA certification (preferred, not mandatory)

Proficient with accounting / tax software

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Tax Accountant located in Chattanooga, TN . The Tax Accountant will be responsible for preparing and filing tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with state and federal tax laws.

Day-to-day tasks include reviewing financial records, preparing financial statements, conducting tax planning, and consulting with clients on tax-related matters. The role also requires staying up to date on tax regulations and changes to ensure all filings are accurate and legally compliant.
