ResponsibilitiesDesign Leadership & ExecutionOwn end-to-end seasonal design execution from concept to final handoff.Lead seasonal concepting, color story development, and silhouette direction aligned with brand DNA and growth goals.Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with Technical Design to ensure fit consistency and product excellence across size ranges (including women's and children's).Collaborate with Merchandising to develop high-performing product assortments, informed by trend forecasting, sales data, and customer insights.Contribute to pricing strategy by designing into margin targets while maintaining high aesthetic standards.Trend & Market AwarenessComplete comp shopping and competitor analysis across key categories, regularly presenting findings to the team.Maintain fluency in industry trends, emerging aesthetics, and cultural signals to inform design innovation.Source and select fabrics, trims, and prints in collaboration with Product Development and external partners.Inspiration & InnovationDrive fresh ideas in product presentation that elevates the brand and captivates our customer.Participate in design reviews and line architecture meetings with clear rationale rooted in both creative vision and business impact.Qualifications5-8 years of experience in fashion design, with a strong background in women's apparel; experience in kids wear a plus.Proven ability to lead the creative process from concept through production.Deep knowledge for garment construction, fit, and technical packages.Strong aesthetic eye with commercial instinct - you understand what sells and why.Adobe Creative Suite proficiency required; CLO or 3D experience a plus.Passion for the Ivy City Co mission and product categories.Why Ivy?Fast-growing fashion brand with big creative ambitions.Mid-sized team where your ideas have real impact.Mission-driven culture that values beauty and quality.Flexible, remote-first schedule (25 hrs / week).
