Description

The Registered Staff Nurse assumes professional nursing responsibility and accountability within a designated time frame for the care and treatment of assigned patients through the Emergency Department. He / she prescribes nursing care utilizing the nursing process in the development of nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes, delegates nursing care based on the competency of team members, coordinates care utilizing available resources and the environment. Interacts with other health care team members and / or disciplines in accordance with standard nursing practice and Henry County Medical Center policies. The ages of the patients served are neonates, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric.

Must complete triage and assessment documentation, patient education, and discharge education. Lifesaving efforts to orthopedic skills will be utilized in the ER. Interested candidates must has excellent communication skills.
