About The Position

Job Title : Computed Tomography Technologist

Profession : Technologist

Specialty : Computed Tomography (CT)

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night Shift

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum of 1 year as a registered radiology technologist.

License : Active state license with Fluoroscopy required.

Certifications : AART required, associate's degree or equivalent required, completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program.

Must-Have :

Candidates must live 100 miles away.

Candidates must be multimodality and have competencies to perform CT and X-Ray including stroke protocols and perfusion scans (or be willing to be trained).

Candidates must be knowledgeable with Philips, Toshiba, and Canon CT scanners.

Description :

Operate Computed Tomography (CT) and radiographic equipment and processors.

Analyze body habitus to correctly adjust technical factors and position the body accurately.

Review physician orders and obtain pertinent clinical data to consistently produce high-quality radiographs.

Reduce unnecessary radiation exposure to patients and self.

Assist physicians during procedures, including room preparation and supplies.

Manage contrast reactions and respond to codes as necessary.

Schedule and complete exams while entering correct charge codes.
