McCall-Thomas Engineering Company, Inc. is seeking a CAD Drafter for full-time onsite work in our Orangeburg, SC office.

McCall-Thomas Engineering is a multi-faceted engineering firm focused in Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electric Utility Services, Electric Field Operations & UAS, as well as the McT Learning Center and Print Services.

As a McCall-ThomasCAD Drafter,you will be joining a team of dedicated individuals committed to our mission of providing quality solutions and services to each of our clients. The primary responsibilities for this role include :

• Using MicroStation, AutoCAD and MS Office programs such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other applicable software programs. You will need to be proficient using features of AutoCAD such as layering, dimensioning, plotting, coordinates, etc., and use basic math skills for dimension and scale drawing elements
• Applying McCall-Thomas drafting standards to drawings
• Completing material take-offs
• Performing basic electrical and design calculations, such asland acreage, material volumes, structural steel weights, conduit sizing, etc.
• Developing construction standards and creating specification drawings for fiber projects
• Developing and updating RUS specification books

McCall-Thomas will consider candidates with varying levels of experience. Pay range will be commensurate with education and relevant work experience.
