Job Description

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities :

• Work under supervision of Lead Mechanic to maintain a fleet of heavy snow removal trucks
• Execute preventative maintenance and repair operations.
• Maintain and provide a report of all repairs and maintenance actions including parts and labor time on each piece of equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex hydraulic and electrical systems on snow removal equipment
• Perform mechanical work using conventional hand and power tools in a safe and productive manner.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and work to proactively maintain fleet and equipment.
• Run equipment and service truck for truck / equipment repairs outside of shop and facility needs.
• General shop upkeep.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Please note that the salary information shown below is provided in compliance with state specific laws. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations, and therefore may be different in other locations or operating divisions.

Pay range : $28.00 - $38.00
