A company is looking for a Senior Principal Automation Engineer responsible for leading the design and implementation of custom automated manufacturing equipment. Key Responsibilities Act as project leader for automation projects within the Global Manufacturing Supply Chain organization Design and develop custom automated manufacturing equipment, including creating equipment specifications and standards Lead and oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Plastics engineering, mechanical engineering, or a relevant area of study or equivalent experience 10-15 years' experience in project management, preferably in a regulated environment like medical devices Previous experience managing moderately complex engineering projects within a team-oriented environment Completion of formal project management training (e.g., PMP or CAPM credentialing programs) is preferred
