Maintenance Engineer - Entry Level

The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for general maintenance of the entire properties, including responding in a timely manner to guest room problems and being assigned to specific projects. The Maintenance Engineer will understand the importance of working with urgency, especially focus on strong communication and responsiveness.

This is a fixed schedule position working 3pm-11pm, five (5) days a week. Also open to part-time or on-call availability, as an alternative, for the 3pm-11pm shift. Great opportunity for someone graduating from a trade school / program.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing repairs.
• Install and repairing door hardware and locks.
• Minor painting.
• Remodeling of building as requested.
• Repairing broken or damaged fixtures.
• Installing tile and other floor coverings.
• Routine general maintenance.
• Maintain the highest level of employee / guest relations.
• Maintain a good working relationship with all Departments.
• Ability to work any assigned shift / work schedule.
• Troubleshoot kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Follow established company policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance and consistency with all coworkers and Guests.
