Job description

Prime Time Healthcare is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a travel job in Dallas, Texas.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Specialty : Mammography Technologist
  • Discipline : Allied Health Professional
  • Duration : 13 weeks
  • 40 hours per week
  • Shift : 8 hours, days
  • Employment Type : Travel

Job Duties :

  • Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms
  • Operate Hologic 3D mammography equipment
  • Conduct 3-D Mammography, Digital Mammography, and Diagnostic Mammograms
  • Assist with stereotactic biopsies, needle localizations, and fine needle aspirations
  • Follow radiation safety protocols
  • Adhere to infection control procedures including isolation and universal precautions
  • Provide care for both inpatient and outpatient populations
  • Document exams and patient information accurately in Epic charting system

    • Qualifications :

  • Minimum 1 year of mammography experience
  • Experience with Epic required
  • ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certifications required
  • BLS certification required (AHA preferred)
  • Texas State Radiologic License required
  • Community hospital, LTAC, Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
  • Proficient in :

    • Hologic 3D

  • Diagnostic and Screening Mammograms
  • Stereotactic Biopsy
  • Fine Needle Aspiration
  • Needle Localizations
  • Digital Imaging Systems
  • Universal / Isolation Precautions
